The Lafayette Composite Squadron qualified a four year for the Quality Cadet Unit Award. This milestone recognizes squadrons who place a high value on having an outstanding Cadet Program and who demonstrate it through measured criteria. Receiving the award for a third year in a row solidifies out unit's tireless work to have a Cadet Program that is on par with the best in the nation.

Lafayette Composite Squadron's outstanding Color and Honor Guard performs Color presentations, POW/MIA ceremonies, drill demonstrations, and parades all over the Acadiana area.
Lafayette Composite Cadets and Officers laid wreaths at each veteran's grave in Fountain Memorial Park for National Wreaths Across America Day on December 16th. Not only were unit members there to lay wreaths, but the squadron sold over 600+ wreaths in the previous months to cover the costs. What an outstanding achievement!
